Bunny Bait is a fun spring time snack that I’ve been making for years! This super simple treat is a great way to get your kids helping in the kitchen working on measurements, taking turns and following directions! We enjoy making this treat for playdates and family movie night and best part, it only takes about 20 minutes!
What you will need:
1 Cup Pretzel Sticks
2 Cups Chex Mix Cereal
3 Cups Popcorn
1 Cup Marshmellos
1/2 Cup M&Ms
1 1/2 Cups White Chocolate Melts
Microwave Safe Bowl
Add 1 cup of pretzels to the bowl.
Next measure out 2 cups of cereal. You really can use any type of your favorite cereal: Cherrios, Crispix, etc.
We used microwave popcorn. After we made it, my son put 3 cups of popcorn in the bowl.
Then we added 1 cup of colored mini marshmallows. Again, you can add your favorite marshmallows or skip this depending on your liking of them.
Next we dumped about 1/2 cup of M&Ms in the mix.
We used a large spatula to mix the dry ingredients.
Next, I melted the white chocolate in the microwave for about 1 minute 30 seconds, checking and mixing it every 30 seconds. When it was melted I pored it over the mix. The chocolate and bowl get very hot so make sure there is an adult doing this part.
After we mixed in the white chocolate we spread the Bunny Bait on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
I gave my kids sprinkles to scatter on our bait.
The mix was dry and ready in eat after about 10 minutes!
