The leaves are changing, the air is getting crisp and kids are heading back to school, fall is definitely coming! With that said, so are all the fun fall activities for families! Check out our local guide for apple picking, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, farm visits and fall chairlift rides!
I encourage you to call a head of time to ensure your destination is still open for the season! Also keep in mind most places are cash only.
Berryland Farms (Auburndale)

Open for the season! Berryland Farm is a locally-owned, family-oriented, u-pick apple and pear orchard. This season is underway and they are expecting quite a crop. Check out their page for more information!
Cournoyer Orchard (Marshfield)
10116 Eagle Rd, Marshfield
Open for the season! No Spray pest control. Family friendly, you pick/we pick orchard with 90% of apples picked off the trees without ladders. Picking from August-October. Wide variety of apple cultivars for all occasions. Wildlife apples and windfalls as well! 6 miles west of Marshfield to Eagle Road. South of County H and north of Hwy 10.
Helene’s Hilltop Orchard (Merrill)
N1189 Quarter Rd, Merrill
Opening for the season. Spend the day at Helene’s picking apples or pumpkins, while exploring the corn maze and enjoying a hayride. Kids can play in the large kid play area and take a spin on the cow train as well as hitting up the new jump pad! Come hungry! Helene’s is known for all the yummy treats they make on site! Rock Ridge Orchard (Edgar)

Open for the season! Honeycrisp, Zestar, Paula Reds, and McIntosh apples. Pick your own or pre picked. Check out their retail store for honey, maple syrup, fresh pressed cider, and a huge selection from their bakery, jams, jellies, and much more. Choose a pumpkin, bring the kids and enjoy the FREE play area and petting zoo, take a wagon ride through the orchard and pick some apples. Click their link for more information!
Wilson Creek Orchard (Wittenberg)

We are opening for the season! Our hours will be 9 am to 3 pm, Saturdays and Sundays in September and October. We currently have pristine, Zestar, Paula Red, Williams Pride and Kindercrisp available…as well as freshly pressed cider! Pre-picked apples. Click on their page for more info!
Grampa’s Farm (Merrill)

Opening September 21st. Over 100 years of rural living on display; ice cream making, cow milking, pony rides, petting zoo, hayride, free pumpkin for each child 12 & under, corn maze. Activities include: Hay rides to the pumpkin patch, farm animals you can hold and pet, haystack for climbing, sandboxes full of shell corn and a tire obstacle course and playground. Schairer’s Autumn Acres (Birnamwood)

Open for the season. The Pumpkin Patch and an amazing Corn Maze are what Schairer’s is known for! Spend the day playing Barnyard Basketball, walking the Fairy Tale Trail, playing in the play area and checking out the petting zoo! Click their link for more information!
Wilke’s Dairy Farm & Wilke’s Extra Sweet Acres (Wausau)

Feltz Family Farms and Dairy Store (Stevens Point)

The Maze is open September now through October 20th! General admission will be $7. Ages 4-12 are $5 & 3 and Under are free! They will also be having a special “Haunted Maze” on October 25th & 26th! Click link for more information!
Seehafer Farm Creamery (Marshfield)

The corn maze will be open on September 21st. Check out another fun central Wisconsin corn maze at Seehafer Farm followed by some delicious ice cream and other treats in their store! Check out their page for more information on wagon rides as well as a FREE petting zoo!
Turn Pike Greenhouse (Granton)

Open now until November 1st! Get lost in the corn maze, play in the corn pit, enjoy a hayride and visit the petting zoo. Don’t forget the pumpkin patch! And, they have a huge selection of mums and other beautiful fall plants! For more information, click on their link.
Willow Springs Gardens
5480 Hillcrest Drive, Wausau
2019 Corn Maze of Willow Springs Garden is open every weekend September 28th-October 20th. Located across from Willow Springs on the south side of the road. Children’s Maze and Petting Zoo, Challenging Maze, Pumpkin Patch, Education Table, Sit by the campfire, Barrel Train, S-more Packages, Prizes, Wagon Rides, Picnic area, concessions, games, and dogs are welcome. Haunted Corn Maze will be October 24th-26th.
Fall Chairlift Rides + Patio Bar (Wausau)
3605 N. Mountain Road, Wausau
Open now through October 20th. Want an amazing view of the fall leaves changing colors? Head to Granite Peak and take advantage of their chairlift rides they offer during the fall. All passengers must be at least 3 years old to ride and must sit in their own seat. Their patio will be open again this year, so stay a little longer to enjoy the beautiful fall colors!
