Creatures of the Night at Monk Botanical Gardens (Wausau)

Details: Let’s see how nocturnal you are! Join us for a family nighttime adventure. Explore the lives of nocturnal animals through an interactive walk in the dark through the Gardens, a truly unique experience, filled with stories, games and experiments.

Tinker Time: Potato Stamps (Stevens Point)
Saturday 10am – 12pm
Admission: $5
Details: We’ve got the perfect way to celebrate the fall! Make seasonal decor for your fridge with us at September’s Tinker Time: Potato Stamps! We will teach your kiddos how to make stamps from locally-sourced potatoes, and then let them test those stamps out, making art or secret messages or other creative projects. Kit are $5 each and available online or at the door.

Touch-A-Truck (Plover)
Saturday 11am – 2pm
Admission: Free, donations appreciated
Details: This is a FREE unique and interactive community event where families can touch and explore a wide range of vehicles. Admission is by donation. There will be a concessions stand to grab lunch. Proceeds will go toward the PTO fund to directly benefit Roosevelt Elementary’s students. We hope to see you there!

Heartland’s Annual Fall Festival/ Craft & Used Tack Sale (Custer)
Saturday 9:30am – 5pm
Admission: Free
Details: This years Fall Festival will have something for all ages, free pony rides, kids crafts & games, face painting, used tack sale, various craft vendors, riding demos~ many different disciplines, other talking demos~ Purina, saddle fitting, chiropractic, horsey hemp & many more, Food and Door prizes!

Community Business Scavenger Hunt (Marathon)
Saturday 11am – 1pm
Admission: $10/family
Details: Families will start the adventure by signing in and grabbing directions and scavenger hunt paperwork at Arrow Tap. Families will follow directions and walk or drive around the community answering questions about local businesses. Bonus questions available with some businesses being open and having a special activity to be completed.

Community Build Day! Jo Jo’s Jungle (Wausau)
Saturday 9am – 3pm
Admission: Free
Details: Attention all supporters! This coming Saturday from 9am to 3pm we invite you to come to JoJo’s Jungle at Brockmeyer Park in Wausau for our community build day! Come see the progress and be a part of this fantastic playground project! Be sure to click Yes on this event so we know how many people are coming. Barnes & Noble Story Time (Wausau)

Admission: Free
Details: Ethan is sure his parents are playing a prank on him when he finds a note under his bed calling for a monster meeting. Soon, five colorful monsters are competing to become his favorite, but which one can win his affection by making him fall asleep the fastest? Activities to follow, plus, get a coupon from our Café for a grilled cheese sandwich with milk or juice for $4 (Café stores only).

Baby & Me Story Time -Barnes & Noble (Wausau)

Admission: Free
Details: Baby & Me Storytime continues for caregivers and children 0-24 months old. Join us as we read a book and participate in activities featuring sensory growth for your little ones. Plus, get a free Starbucks tall, hot or iced coffee (Café stores only).

Fall Maker Fest at Michaels (Wausau and Stevens Point)
