Every holiday I tend to overbuy Marshmallow Peeps thinking we will go through them. Well after a few years of doing that, we started to get creative with those tasty little bunnies. Check out one of my kids favorite and incredibly simple “treats,” the Peeps S’mores!
What you will need:
-Chocolate Bars or Peanut Butter Cups
First, place a graham cracker square on a microwave safe plate followed by a piece of chocolate and then a Marshmallow Peep on top of that. I don’t put the remaining graham cracker square on top of the marshmallow because it may fall off when the marshmallow is expanding.
Next, place the plate in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds depending on your microwave. The marshmallow will expand quickly so keep an eye on in.
After taking the plate out of the microwave, cover the Peep with a graham cracker square and push it down lightly. The chocolate and marshmallow can get hot so make sure to check the temperature before giving it to little ones.
This yummy treat is now ready to eat!
Anyone else have some fun ideas to use up those cute little Peeps?
