DIY Confetti Poppers

My 5 year old likes to plan parties, so as we approach New Year’s Eve, the question of what are we going to do has been asked at least 5,429 times and counting. Due to the increase amount of excitement bursting from this little boy, we decided to go ahead and start planning a fun filled night for him and his little sister. We started today by making DIY Confetti Poppers that we will use on New Year’s Eve. These little boogers are EASY to make, FUN for all, and INEXPENSIVE.

*Paper/Cardboard Tubes

First, grab a balloon and scissors, snip off enough of the bottom of the balloon (closed end) to cover the end of the paper tube.

Then, tie a knot at the end of the balloon as thou you were tying it after filled.

Next, take the open end of the balloon and stretch it over one end of the paper tube. Once centered, tape the balloon around the tube so it’s secure.

We then decorated the tubes with markers, stickers and more tape! Be creative!

Once ready, fill the open end of the tube with confetti. To use, pull back on the the tied-up end of the balloon and let go! Enjoy!
